Interior Painting Process
Protecting Your Space
Before any painting begins, we carefully cover and protect all furniture, floors, and fixtures. Electrical faceplates are removed, and trim and woodwork are taped off to ensure clean lines.
Surface Preparation
Walls are inspected for imperfections like nail pops, cracks, and dents. We fill these areas with spackling paste, sand them smooth, and clean the surfaces to ensure the paint adheres properly.
Priming
We apply a primer to any areas of bare drywall, spackle, or previous damage. Primer ensures the finish coat adheres evenly and lasts longer.
Painting
Once prepped, we apply high-quality paint with precision. Ceilings are typically painted in flat white, trim in semi-gloss, and walls in your chosen color and finish—usually flat, eggshell, or satin depending on the room's use.
Final Touches & Clean-Up
We conduct a detailed walkthrough, making sure every line is sharp and every surface looks perfect. Once you're satisfied, we clean up thoroughly, leaving your home spotless.
Exterior Painting Process
Power Washing
We start by power washing the exterior to remove dirt, mildew, and loose paint, ensuring a clean surface for the new paint to adhere to.
Scraping & Sanding
Any loose or peeling paint is thoroughly scraped away. We sand rough areas to create a smooth, even surface.
Caulking & Sealing
Cracks and gaps around windows, doors, and siding are sealed with high-quality caulk to protect your home from moisture and improve energy efficiency.
Priming
We apply primer to any bare wood or repaired areas, creating a strong base for the finish coat.
Painting
Using durable, weather-resistant paints, we apply at least one finish coat—often two for older homes—to ensure long-lasting beauty and protection.
Final Inspection & Clean-Up
Once the job is complete, we perform a detailed inspection with you to ensure everything meets your expectations. We clean up thoroughly, leaving your property spotless and your home looking like new.
